Im wondering if anyone recognizes what these two parts are? I recently reassembled a GX335 and I also had the chute and deck off of a cub cadet XT1. I'm done working on both and I have these parts in my garage and I'm thinking it's from one of these tractors. Any help would be appreciated.

The top part holds part of a John Deere mulch kit in place

Yep, it's the chute support that comes with a mulch kit...although I'm not sure why it's necessary to have the chute lifted up when the mulch kit is on?

Right! Better to just take the chute off and make it easy to trim with both sides of the deck.

as already said, the top is for a JD mulch plug, holds the chute up because legally Deere cant tell you to ever remove a piece of safety equipment, bottom is the crank pulley belt retainer off the cub, keeps the belts from falling off the crank pulley with everything disengaged.
