Engine with a pump on mower with front mount gas tank - problem?

So I was under the impression that it should not be an issue to mount a V-Twin Briggs onto a mower (Craftsman) with front mounted gas tank. This mower had an engine that was gravity fed... will that be an issue?

Take a look at the fuel filter. Pressure fed filters seem to be more restrictive than gravity fed. At least the label on the various packages seem to point that way.
