Hi! Well. it was running reliably... started good all Winter! When the six year old battery died and the ignition switch wouldn't shut off I figured it's time for a little electrical attention. If comeone could help answer my questions I would be grateful!

1. The ameter negative terminal is supposed to be wired to the "B" terminal on the regulator... on mine it's hooked to the negative side of the battery... is that why it always shows a 15 amp charge on the ameter?

2. It cranks very slowly... with the flaming CASE a new starter solved a similar problem. Will a new starter drive be enough to pep up the starter? Or should I just shell out the economic stimulus check for a new starter?

3. Where oh where can I find brushes for the starter if a drive is enough?
