I recently posted a message that I thought I wanted to edit, but I couldn't find a way to do it. It used to be possible with the old version.

Is there a way to edit a recent post?

I hope I understand you question so here goes and I could be wrong but; I think if you start a thread post your message and leave it for a week or so then in the meantime someone else responds I don't think you can log in and edit your original message. I think I was able to edit this response only because it was new and nobody else has responded yet. Again, I could be wrong; Good luck.
Update: guess I was wrong, you can edit after someone else responds.
I just edited a previous message.... lol

Thanks for responding rudedawg.
Yes I know that there was a time limit with the old forum when you could edit your recent post within a short time after sending it. There was an edit button visible.
When you edited your response to me, was there a an edit button somewhere that allowed it?
Maybe I just couldn't find it?
I'm going to send this now and look for an edit button.

I FOUND it!! It was in the 3 vertical dots above the right side of my message!

Thanks AGAIN!! :)

You have up to 24 hours to edit a post, which is up from 2 hours in the previous version.

Very strange, Don. Please go to the Test forum and start a thread. Then, wait a few hours and see if you can edit your post.
