Hey Guys! Long time since I've been haunting this site.
Not much has been going on in my world with mowers. But yesterday I picked up something I think you all will like.
And I need your expertise to figure out exactly what I have. It's definitely built by RPM and badged Craftsman for Sears Roebuck, but I can't pinpoint a year.
The engine feels good. smooth, and had compression. The deck is a mess of cracks and repairs so that is going to be the big challenge here.
The data plate reads 134. 8196 with a 0 stamped in at the end. I know that 134 designates RPM as the manufacturer, so technically this is the father of the Lawn-Boy.
Enjoy the pics, and let me know what you think

Nice find
Looks like the same as a 8SH10 except for the flywheel

That looks like a Power Products engine to me. Not sure about the deck itself. Sears used a lot of Power Products Tecumseh stuff back in the day. Roger
