Sense I resently decided not to restore my other Jim Dandy (to much missing) I've been trying to figure out what to do with the rest other than sell it. I have always liked the thought and look of dual rear wheels so I started brain storming and measuring on the spare wheels I had. I came up with a list of what steel I would need and in what dimentions. It took a little while but I finally found what I needed were I work. Got all the steel cut to length and didnt cost anything (benefits of working in a machine shop:trink40:). Got everything drilled and dry fitting well so yesterday I fired up the old karosene heater and drug out my welder and got everything welded and mounted on my Jim Dandy.
Now they just need paint.

Look just like the OEM ones! Good job! When driving is it harder to turn with duals? Does it or maybe Will it dig up the yard? Plus, harder to park in spaces???Heh! Always thought would be neat to look at, yet maybe not that handy to actually have.

Thanks, havent driven it vary much so I cant answer your first two questins, but it wouldnt fit back in its paring spot. I took the pics today when I was taking then off so I can clean up and paint everything. As far as usefulness duals are ment to give you added stubility on hills and added traction in loose soil, I made them because I am one that cant leave well enough alone.
