what's this go kart have to do with it?
alot!
see the solid mount rear axle
that's dragster style
same as full size dragster
upper and lower tube w/plate for axle tube in between
see the taper from back to front in the top view
don't do that!
that's for professional frame builder
it'll make the job take a whole lot longer
stay away from taper in top view!

dragstrips were thick with this kind
of dragster late 50's early 60's
plastic kit lays out basics
you can add dimensions
to your own plans by
mocking it up in garage
18" overall frame width is good guideline
wheel base about 120"
can use square tubing first time around
redo it later with round tubing
after playing with it awhile

the top kit on the box (streamliner dragster) is
dragster in pic WITH body panels
we're going to build close to kit frame
leaving out streamliner body
it was mistake thinking build
'Exterminator' type dragster frame

that is more advanced
headed towards Tommy Ivo
single engine dragster
that is long and ultra light

here's how to get this car
built for sure
here are three points
1 can use this steering box
from SW Racing it's 500 bucks
that's why we're scheming
to adapt regular steering box
2 use any old rear end
and cut axles and housing
and a spool from Speedway
to get the car built
3 use SQUARE 1 inch .065" wall tubing
just copy Double Dragster slingshot dragster frame
put tin from firewall back
