Are those ICF Walls ?
Actually no, these aren't ICF Walls, These are Superior Walls made with 5000 psi concrete that has the insulation actually bonded to it in the pouring / molding process at the factory. They build the entire basement in sections at the factory in PA and then truck it to the job site. It is then assembled and permanently sealed like a Ginormous jigsaw puzzle on your building lot. They can also make them any size, and geometry that you want. The builder told me that Superior could set their walls in almost any weather,.....well I gotta say I was skeptical about that until last Thursday,....when in the middle of a tropical storm or depression ,...or whatever it was the northeast got last Thursday,....Superior Walls not only showed up,....but had the entire basement, garage and all set in 4 hours start to finish! I couldn't believe my eyes, but I got it on video! Looks great too! :fing32:lol

Nice!! So what kind of tractor you looking at??
Well, that is still up for debate, alot depends on my needs. For starters about 2 acres beyond those tall pines in the pics need to be cleared, well atleast 80% of it anyhow. But I figured I'd have it dozed like I did the first acre that the basement now sits on, and straighten the rest out from there with whatever I buy. Right now all the brush and stuff that was on the first acre in in big piles out of the way and I've been slowly cutting up for firewood, and plan to chip the rest. (It's slow going right now as we live roughly 15 miles away for that property) At the moment thought about maybe a JD 2305 or 2320 or something along those lines. Once the initial clearing and ground shaping / maintenance is done mostly my needs would include mowing 3 acres regularly and 6 acres probably 5 times a summer. Snow removal on a roughly 80ft by 20 ft DW. and we plan to put in a garden. So we'll see where it goes from there!

If you were able to by now, or soon, there should be some sweet deals on the 2305, as it is being replaced by the new 1 series.
