Do My New Spacers Make Me Look Fat?

Had to installed 1.5" spacers on my new Kubota B3030 to make room for the chains this winter. The first pic shows tractor without spacers. The second pic shows tractor with spacers. Also in the first pic, you can see the spacers on the ground by the respective wheels.

The spacers not only will work more well with your chains, but will make rollover more difficult. If I buy a B3030 cab in the future, that is the first thing I will do.:fing32:

Nice pics..I never get tired of looking at the B3030 cabs.:thThumbsU
Some of us like "curves" on our girls... lol lol lol

Looks like that should do the trick for chains... Was there no provisions for setting your rims to wide?

No, turning them around would of brought them in even closer.
I think the stance looks great!

Do the B3030 have the ability to set the wheels on the axles in different pin hole locations?.

I think it looks better with the spacers. I would leave them all year around.:thThumbsU
It's only 3" total. Bugger all distance really. It doesn't look much different. I'm glad to see that you got it sorted though. How long did it take to fit them ?

One (1) hour.
Very nice. I think it looks "boss". Since others have said it helps with stability (makes sense), I'd leave them on year round.

By the way, that is a very nice tractor/cab arrangement. Thanks for showing us.
I like the wider look, it makes the width/height ratio look better. The added safety may not be much but every little bit helps. As long as the wheel width is less than your mower deck I think they should stay on always.:fing32:
No doubt, the wider stance is better. In cases where the width has been increased substantially (not the case here) one could argue that doing so places higher loads on the unsupported section of the axle and outboard bearings, but I can see nothing but positive to what you have done except that you may sling a bit more mud.

I wouldn't discount the positive affect that even just three inches will make to the stability of the tractor.

Good job!

I believe I am the only honest fellow here ... real FAT! is all I can say. ;)

Kind of reminds me of a dragster...

Hey, reminds me of that GEICO commercial with honest Abe, so I must say, it does make your B3030 look "maybe just a little bit" fatter, but in this case, that's a good thing.

Not at all!! Curvy is better than skinny bean pole.... Oooops, we are talking tractors here.

More stable, much better.

Where did you get the spacers??

They are the real McCoy: From the Kubota Warehouse. Cost: Click over 3 bills.
