Got a couple mods done to my new X500 thought I would share some pics. I put a front bumper that I saved from my X300. I did the single bucket holder and my dealer came thru on a set of HDAP's that he swaped out for FREE! The best mod was I ordered the X720/X740 high back seat from mike @ Keeping it green for 129.00 and that came with the seat a custom made bracket and new mounting pin and also a new seat switch. The seat is SOOO much better that the org. I think it was well worth the money plus it looks good! Hope you like the pics.

Looks Good! Thanks for sharing!:thThumbsU
Thank you.
Good job on the mods. I cannot except the idea JD didn't cover the seat springs with rubber or something so they wouldn't wear into the plastic bottom of the seat. Which will eventually do as you use the seat... metal to plastic...results...the plastic will lose out.

I agree my new seat pan is metal so should be good.
Nice Job! Those are awesome upgrades, HDAP look great on just about anything. And you can't go wrong with those seats.:fing32:
Ya know this may sound dumb.. I sure like the pail on the back.. stop and pick up trash.. get back to the house dump the pail out.. quick.. easy.. simple.. no need to pack a bag or put the garbage in your pocket..

That is exactly the reason I have mine!
Nice mods on that! I like the seat, I'll have to check to see if they make one for the 318! I could use a bit more back support! Good thing I re-read you original post, I was looking for the "brush guard" and saw that it was the bumper!
Thanks guys! I saw the single bucket holder on the forum here several guys have them and the do work great. I used mine last nite picking rocks out of some black dirt I had spread.

I know, the bumper sucks! I took it off my x300 before I traded and put it on but I think I'm going to get the brush guard. The bumper looked fine on my X300 but way to small on the x500.
Looks great. Now you need a long handle thing with the trigger and tongs to pickup of the debris and put into the bucket and not leave the seat. slkpk
Looks real good, I'll be calling mike tomorrow. Thanks for posting.
from one X500 owner to another- great mods, they look great! Seat mod may be in my near future!
The HDAPs do look good but I really like that seat. I need to find out if I can get one for my X300. I think that seat is so uncomfortable on my back.
Nice mod! :thThumbsU

Can you take a picture of the 2 seat side by side just to see the difference if you can. :)
Nice mods! nothing like a little personalizing to set a machine apart from the rest!:fing32:

Seat should fit, I think they're both the 15" open back design....
