Haven't been here for a long time, just busy with other things.
A couple of years ago I added this tractor to the stable; just didn't post anything here, until now.
From my avatar , I guess you can see I am a Deutz fan; nothing seems to go wrong with them. Out side of usual maintenance, and general wear, of course.
Very fuel efficient tractors.
Of course they are European, Deutz is German; so they do things a bit differently, than our domestic brands. Some pretty nifty things though.
Deutz started an engine factory in 1864, yea; tractors came a few years later. And they revolutionized the air-cooled diesel design. The Germans really perfected air cooled engines. I also ride an air-cooled BMW motorcycle.
This tractor is one of the last air-cooled models allowed into the USA. Can you say EPA.
Deutz has liquid cooled models also; but some die-hards still want the efficient air-cooled models.
This is a utility model with a Stoll loader.
I had it out today, pulling a 12 foot Oliver transport disk. By the way that old disk is really a good piece of machinery; and very heavy duty.
