DB Piece Missing

I am not sure what you are asking. Does this mean you want to know what the part looks like? Do you want to know the size of the part. Do you want to know if someone has the part? What part is missing? Is it something that goes in or over the rectangular hole? Is it something else. I would help but can't read your mind from here. Roger

The piece you are missing is just a piece of flat metal that slides in the top and has 1 screw in the top.


I'm jealous that you have the battery top and side cover. I will trade covers with you.:fing32: Looking closer at your pic, the side of your dash is solid and mine is open or cut out. HMMM.

No maddog, the old ones like yours didn't have a cover. I don't think any had covers until 1964. The earliest ones didn't even charge the battery. They weren't starter/generators, only starters. They came with a 110 volt charger for charging the battery.
