This is my 1960 Suburban DB I like the tractor but its the wrong B&S and no hood or grill, but I,m keeping and eye open for them.

The engine installed is a cast iron model 14 I'm not sure but it maybe to tall to fit under the hood. But if I can find a hood and grill will try to fit it over the model 14, I do have a electric start engine that would be closer to correct but don't know if it runs.

SF, whats that black lever for? Front lift mechanism for...?

I don't really know Hugh, I never messed with the tractor. Soon as I got it I put it up in the barn. The engine is free but I never even tried to start it and I have had it since 05.
I'm thinking Home brew rig for the mule drive maybe ?

That old Rupp has been up there even longer. It's the barn for resting toys.....

Years ago my Dad on my old walkbehind Bradley with a Huffy frontend attachment...
I still can't believe Huffy sold tractors...

Maybe we can get this DB thread made a sticky like the one for suburbans? That way those of us that dream about owning a DB have somewhere to come and drool readily!
