Sears is definitley not going to have any decals for any tractor from that time frame. Don't even waste your time with e-bay since most of them are incorrect and look like crap. I do not know of anyone that sells restoration decals for the 18. Mine were mostly complete when I restored mine and I had to have them duplicated off of my pics. Although, I know someone that does good reproduction decals if you provide him with good digital photos of your old ones. He can edit them, and print new ones out on a solid backing.

I'm going to have the larger yellow and orange Sears decal that was on the top of the hood reproduced.

I am in the process of having some decals made for my GT-18 Tecumseh model (917.257120). I'll let you know how they turn out.

As far as quality, They were taken from digital photos of the original decals on my tractor, with measurements of sizes.

I'll let you know

here are some pictures of my GT-18

Hey Eric,
Any local graphics/vinyl shop that does lettering for signs/vehicles would be able to do it. They usually charge by the foot I have some logos and lettering for my trucks that I paid less than $5 a decal. Others like a big 18" x 3' decal would run about $50.

I have a guy by me that has done my company signs. If you want I can give you the number.

I know of plenty of people on-line that do reproductions of registered trade marks, logo's and copyrighted company names without consent, but pretty much all of the local companies that do printing around me including larger groups like Kinkos will not reproduce anything without a signed release. That's just been my experience.
