well i have been working on one of the d mowers i got from the old hardware store. the model # is 5236 it does run and sounds very good, but i cannot get the float adjusted correctly. it is starving or flooding, i have readjusted the float about 6 times and cannot get a happy medium!! i have never had to adjust a float on an f engine. btw it is a new float.

suggestions???

thanks

Manual says the top of the float should be 15/32" above the carburetor body.

You got a Napa nearby? They have all kinds of Lawnboy parts including both of the needle and seat styles.

Yes. I can send you a kit for less than $15. PM me your address.

Might have spoken too soon-thought it was a different kit. I've got a price check on "isle 6" for you though-will have to order it I'm sure. Will let you know soon........it may be close to $15 after all.
