So I wanted some shade from the sun, nothing fancy. With the help of a friend we came up with this contraption. Turned out great for a canopy! Got an old sign that was junk metal at a salvage place and used a section of it and spent like 10$ on spare stuff. Boom, tiny tractor canopy!

Oh and I installed a husqvarna zero turn seat in place of the old hard seat.. much better!

I found the seat on eBay and I had to do some serious thinking on how to mount it however when I took the original seat off I figured all I had to do was drill 4 holes and it went right on. I did have to cut the seat springs down by 1/3, they were way too tall and now they are just right. I had to remove the arm rests as they interfered with the seat belt, but it worked amazing and very comfortable. Only downside to the canopy.. is it’s a lot louder when operating. I like it a lot though!

Been there... you ain’t kidding. And, there is zero sound or vibration, it’s solid as ****. The sound is because the mower deck and engine are reflecting off the canopy now. Very happy how it turned out!
