The other day went to start the Cub. Click Click Click stop click click click stop click click then smoke rolled out from under the hood. Before I could get to the tool box to take off battery cable it had fried both cables . Anyone have a idea what happened? Nothing I did before or recent . It always ran just fine.

something shorted out (starter, solenoid, frayed cable)? You should be able to tell by where the burning stopped...
