I took one off my 105 several years ago. It's out in the shop, somewhere. I figured it might be worth something someday since it says IH on it. I've got to tell you, though, it's worthless as a gauge.......it jiggles like a French whore!

Mine did too on my 129. I could tell if I had headlights on that it was drawing more amperage, but the tractor shook so much that it was impossible to get n "accurate" reading.

The one I have is "factory" off a 1968 105. If you'd like a gauge that's accurate, though, I'd recommend a Faria 30 amp unit.

I just yesterday took an IH amp gauge off a 108 (S/G) and put it on a QL1000 (flywheel alternator).

The QL must be W A Y more amps, barely above idle the meter needle pegged!!

The needle quickly goes back to the middle, just a couple seconds.

The QL is 10hp, very little vibration, no meter needle shake, I am happy, and it looks GOOD!!
