Hello all!

I have come to this forum with so many questions and have never went away without some type of answer. SO I thought I would actually try posting something this time.

I have my beloved Cub Cadet HDS 3185, that I am needing to sell. She has been with our family for so many years and has taught several children how to drive and mow, but honestly for my property, she just is too big. With that said, I want to make sure someone with time, patience and not the needs of a full time household and father of 4+ kids, to love her like I do. She is not as pretty as she once was.

Any ideas on where to post about selling her? She was running rough last fall when I parked her. I'm guessing the fuel filter needs changed.

Thanks for any insight. I really appreciate it

Yes-sir--list it in the For Sale/Wanted section. Mention the state location in the title. A few pictures would be worth a thousand words.
Good luck-

The 3185 is a decent tractor and worth saving. Some might shy away because it has the Briggs engine, but it shouldn't really scare anyone. I bought mine in the fall of 2016 with 1095 hours on the clock and in used but well cared for shape - for $500. It mowed my lawn for several years and is now my "helper" tractor, and will roll up 1300 hours in a week or two. I bought mine off Craigslist in mid-Wisconsin and was glad to find it. Warning - it started an addiction that I don't have fully under control, but I'll die smiling.

First, welcome to MTF! We put a rule in place to prevent scammers/spammers from trying to take advantage of our members as it was becoming a problem. @dave_r explained it in his post, so I won't restate it. We have a lot of info here and great members to help and share with, enjoy the site! Here is some site navigation assistance in case you need it:

But, to post for sale/wanted ads, you need to either be a premium member, or be a member for 15 days and have made 15 posts. This was implemented to cut down on scammers.
Thanks for the information. I completely understand understand the precautions. There are so many scammers. It's crazy! I tried selling something on FB marketplace and was bombarded.

Question - the 15 posts seems like a lot. So I have to comment on 15 posts, or make 15 posts?

Thanks!

I love mine, but I only have less than an acre now. It is kind of overkill.
