Hello to Everyone from sunny Alberta,

I am very new to garden tractors. I have just bought 1973 Bolens G8.
And now I consider a Cub Cadet.

I wonder if anyone here is familiar with this model: Cub Cadet 123 L&G ?
I can't find any info about it. Is there something special about this model?
It seems to me it is rare one. Is this a fact? If, so then why? How reliable it is? Is there anything else I need to know about it?

I am asking because there is one available for sale. I do not know yet in what condition it is. The distance to travel is substantial.

Thank you.

Ted

The 123 was the FIRST model of a Hydro Drive Cub Cadet. That is about the notoriety for the 123. The 123 was built by IH between 06/1966 to 11/1967.

It is a Garden Tractor and is a rugged tractor as compared to the stuff you see today.

There are many parts available for these tractors, either new or good used.

You should have NO problems.

I own a 123 and have to say it is a rugged piece of equipment. We use it for all the things it's not designed to do.
