That's better if HTML works.

You get the idea..if a pic is worth 1000 words, you are about 987 short.

Don't have a way of posting pics at the moment. Will be going to work on it today. Have to put the engine back in and then will be able to drive it the mile home.
It's at the neighbors he was going to put the engine in his 1250 was able to convince him otherwise and now the 100 is mine.
Oops, left a gap..so sue me.
Mighty strong words for a lawyer ;)
If I were a lawyer..or a 400yo vampire.
Just looked up the serial number and it's a early 1967 102 with a hood with 70 decals.
102!! Ah Ha. They are both pretty similar, but the 100 has the stepped grille where the 102 has the smooth angled back grille..and the 100 has round fenders.

I have both a 100 and 122. The 122 was a $15 basketcase though..but almost there. I put in a gas tank, grille and top engine sheetmetal on it last week. It had no engine and a front spindle missing when I got it, and no grille insert or headlight area cover.
That was fun to load.
My problem is I hate to see one go to waste.

The 100 I have was a CL find another member saw and posted
The ad never mentioned the FEL! (or the creeper gear, or rear lift) Wasn't cheap at $1000 non running..though a battery, gas, points cleaning and I was off playing with it.

That's a qwik way. No doubt many a Sears had them too.
Started working on it today and it's missing over half the clutch parts :banghead3. So am going to look up the part numbers and see about ordering them.

yes youre right its a qwik way :fing20:

i think it has sears mounts though.....:lalala:
No, you can't have it for your Sears. tsk tsk.
Looked up the clutch parts on parts tree and they want over $538 for just the parts that are missing.:banghead3:banghead3
Since we are talking about CC100s in this thread.....I have seen an ad for one, looks complete (tractor and mower deck), says it was running last year.....Wants $300......Any thoughts whether this is a good deal?

Looks like a decent deal to me.

Piecrazy, do you really need $538 worth of new parts?

List what you need, and maybe we can find you some good used for a 10th of that or less.
Looks like grille is missing on the 100, I'd like to see it running THIS year before forking over $300. I have had some blown engines that were running fine the day before.
If it runs good, no smoke or noises, shifts and drives ok, $300 is a good deal.
If not running, $150 is a lot better.
