Craigslist help - JD 160 $325

Left a message this morning, talked to the seller after work and he said he sold it within 10 minutes. The person who bought it didn't even come and look at it. Should have jumped faster. Oh well, back to the search. Hopefully something will come up...

That's typical...if it's a good deal you have to move fast, especially if it's something you want. As they say, you snooze you lose.

So does anyone have an opinion on the 160 tractor? Another one has come up for sale on Craigslist. I actually posted a Wanted ad for a Snapper RER or a smaller 38" deck Deere. Someone just sent me an email with a 160 they are looking to sell.

:trink39: :greendr: For 1 acre or less it'll do a fine job. My grandfathers has been making the rounds through my family for the last ten years and it works great. If you have hills you'll need chains due to small tire size. Ours has been very reliable. Still works good as new.
