Hello everyone,
I was lucky enough to score a LT4000 for free and have it running very well now. It didn't have any compression which ended up being a stuck exhaust valve and an easy fix. It needed an air cleaner, plug, battery and an oil change. I am pretty happy, I don't have much invested and even mowed the lawn with it.
Is there any service I need to do for the Dana Transaxle mdl 4360-48?
It shifts fine now.

Check the manual for specifics. My LT4000 'operator's manual' has a short paragraph, which doesn't say much. I'll check the other one, but suspect there will be less info there.
If you're looking for a manual, check the www.searsparts.com website. That's where I got manuals, parts lists, and parts pictures, all printable.
Ebay has had several on there, but you have to make sure you get the correct one for your machine.
12.5 hp, huh? I got one of those, too. Used alot of gas pushing snow until I figured out what the adjustment screw on the bottom of the bowl did. Runs very nvely and sips the fuel.
