HELP!
I have a Craftsman DYT4000 Model No. 917.273664 with a 25hp Kohler and a LT2000 Peerless transaxle. A little history- Purchased August 2005, it worked fine until May 2006 when it would no longer go up hills. It would start up the hill, hesitate, but it would go up. Sears replaced the transaxle and I was back in business. I checked out the old transaxle while the tech was working and noticed it was low on oil. Well this worked for 2006 and the problem showed up again spring 2008 so I checked the transaxle fluid and it was low so I filled it and it worked until now. Currently the transaxle is full but will not go up hills, I can get it to go up if I go slow but if I try full speed nothing. I can go full speed on flat ground.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Sure your belt is tight and routed properly?

I checked the belt, I'm reasonably sure it is routed properly as it is the original but with 143 hours on it I'm going to change it. Maybe it is starting to slip. :thanku: , Tim
