okay. couple of issues here.
Motor is a workhorse, no worries there.
transmission works..albeit it does get sluggish -- not the immediate proble,m.
immediate problem is this:
crank motor. ( before going any further, I have to wiggle the fuse holder behind dash board)
idles strong, no worries here.
when I engage the clutch the machine goes forward a few feet and then engine dies.
same thing with the PTO.
it also dies when in neutral and I engage clutch.
model number is 912.258692
I am ready to tie a dollar to it and push it into the river. please someone help me.
BTW, I also jumpered the seat safety switch. that isn't it either.
