not that i have ever heard of, only the 6 speeds were all ive seen...

I think what he has is the LT version, not the GT version. I've seen a couple with the 18hp vertical briggs and 44" deck, but on the lighter LT chassis/trans.

BTW, counting reverse, the "6spd" would be an 8spd.
