Dumb question...

Does the engine need to be warm when I check the coolant level? I was doing my 10hour once-over and the coolant is at the low mark with a cold engine.

When the engine heats up, it may expand a littlle, and work its way up to the full hot mark.

Low cold is normal.

JD
We should start our own club, my real initials is JD also. Nice to meet you.
That would be a good idea. My dad really like John Deere, he claims my initials and my sisters (also JD) are not related to tractors but I'm not sure.
