Can you change the mounting points? Without pictures I'm just guessing but you may have purchased a Cat 1 blade and your tractor may have a Cat 0 mounting system.

I am hoping to find a rear blade for my tractor - a 3 pt type I purchased a Countyline 5 ft Blade from Tractor Supply but it doesn't look like it's going to fit. Any suggestions for a 4-5 ft blade?

A G172 should have Cat 1 spacing on the 3 point.
