Kohler part 22375 if it is cast as part of the nose. Otherwise it is 237362-S if stamped. They do not sell the welded center section high mount except as a whole starter.

They do not sell the welded center section high mount except as a whole starter.I bought a C 10A that had sat outside and not run for around 11 or 12 years. I had to de rust the carb, rewire all of it, put new choke throttle cables on and new control handles and rods. I did get it to start last week but, before I decided that before I actually run it I wanted to finish up a few things on it. I got it all together and was excited to start it up when the starter rattled unusually. I took a closer look and the mount, which had been broken before I got it, had come apart again and it's in such a shape that I don't want to use the mount. I got on gravely.net to find the part number but there were only service and owners manuals for the 10A. I tried to goggle a parts list with no luck. So I started googling mounts for K241 starters. No luck. Spent quite a long time. I hate to buy a new starter when this one works. Does anyone know what the part number is or where I can find a parts list?
Thats why I couldn't find the mount anywhere by itself.Kohler part 22375 if it is cast as part of the nose. Otherwise it is 237362-S if stamped. They do not sell the welded center section high mount except as a whole starter.
It looks like the mount, which is aluminum, can be unbolted from the gear end of the starter. The mount on a Kohler starter is part of the starter. I'm not sure what you are asking. :wwp:
