I bet that one is for the big city JD318's so they would show off their bling.
Ive seen alot of 318's and I'd be willing to wager that did not roll out of the JD factory on a 318
Ask if he can provide, or at least know where to look for, the OEM part nos. for those two things chrome.

Onan offered those air cleaner covers and oil dipsticks on the Performer engines (so yes they were available so it is not a custom deal). However, Deere never installed anything other than black air covers on their 318's. Even the millionth Lawn and Garden tractor (which was a 318) has a black cover.......... And I have certainly never seen a John Deere Powered sticker on a 318. I think I have seen a Wheel Horse with something like that though, but that would be a question for the Wheel Horse folks.

YES, wheel horse was the one to use
the CHROME option. ( A/C and dipstick tube)
i do have a few of the NOS chrome air cleaner covers yet.
they never said john deere powered.

Looks like a cover from an Onan powered Wheel Horse tractor that was moved over and a sticker slapped on it

Hey Justy37,Looks like the chrome cover off a onan wheel horse, only that the sticker was changed. It was a option for wheel horse 520 Onan P220G.
