I think I'm finally ready for snow:

Back in May I had a bad case of G.A.S. (before we all knew what G.A.S. was) so I invested in a new (to me) 816. Fixed her up a little by changing the seat, did a little tinkering with the CCKA to get her running right, replaced both clutches and the front tires, added wheel weights all the way around, and bought a set of chains. The tractor came with the axle mounts for the plow, and I already had two plows. Many thanks to Richard for his help in getting her running well.

The 8179KT received new tires all the way around, 45 lb rear wheel weights, a weight rack (that is lacking in the weight dept.) and steering brakes (yay!). Many thanks to Ron for his help with the steering brakes and the weight rack.

Sorry for the lousy cell phone pics, they turned out really blurry this time.

All I can say is come on snow!

Maybe you guys wishing for snow should take apart a tractor - that seems to be my fool-proof method of getting it to snow here. :duh: This time I've got the front wheels off for new rubber and bearing re-pack... :fing32:

Great looking fleet! I hope to have a similar setup next year, but with the blower on my 816.:fing32:
Many thanks Marc. I put the blower on the 8179KT because it has the heavy duty tie rods and the rack and pinion steering so it handles the weight much better than a tractor with old sector steering like my 816. BTW I forgot to give you a shout out for your help with my 816 clutch parts and linkages. As you know those parts worked out great. Thanks again!
