Hi guys and girls I recently bought a 1993 MTD GT 1846. :sidelaugh Don't laugh I moved up 30 years from my 1963 725 sears suburban. I am in the process of checking fluid levels and cannot find any fill or drain plugs for the rear end. Is there one hidden in a secret place, or have I just missed it?
It has a 18hp Briggs and Stratton motor that is in need of a starter I think. It's suppose to be a garden tractor but I don't know that I have ever seen any attachments that would fit it for sale anywhere ??
Is this the same as any other tractor as far as parts and attachments??

Hi,
There are no drain or fill plugs on the trans-axle unless it has a hydrostatic drive.

How does one know if there is any oil [or whatever lube goes in it] is in there ??

I have an 85 model 832 with a peerless 2nnnn 4 speed and it use 80w90 and has plugs for drain,fill and level check.
