I just recently put a 3000lb winch on the front of my landlord.

This is because i am putting a bucket on and need something to pick it up, also it is bad ***.

But i tryed pulling some stuff and realized I need wheel chucks.

Your going to need more than wheel "chucks" if you try to pull stuff with the winch mounted that high, it will tip your tractor over. Yes, I know you mounted it up that high to lift a bucket or blade, which will work fine. I would have mounted it low for better support and then just used a pulley up high. It would have worked better for lifting, then you could take the cable out of the pulley for pulling things.

Thats not a bad idea, but i also dont plan on pulling stuff alot, just mainly for bucket and stuff but not a bad idea.
