Changing front rim Bushings

I got the bearings for the front rims. I'm just wondering how to get the "bushings" out of the rim.
I tried hitting them with a punch from the inside but their not budging! It kind of feels like I might have sunk the punch into the plastic of the bushing.

Any good ideas on changing these?

Use something larger than a punch. I have a couple of pieces of metal round rod 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 diameter and use the biggest one I can fit in the hole. Tap and keep moving around the circle. If you stay in one place you well **** the old bearing and not get it out. Roger
