I'm in the market for a new Generator to replace my new clunked out Troy-Bilt (see my "My Non-Working Generator" thread below for those details). I've been having my eye on Champion now and wondering how you all like them. They also got good reviews and I like the 3 Year Warranty. Customer Service also seems to be pretty good. Y'all let me know what you think about this one:

Thanks

My brother has a Champion and likes it, but it tends to start hard. He'll pull and pull on that rope even if the thing has sat for only a couple of weeks. Once started, it runs well.
I tease him with the fact that I've never pulled more than twice to start my HF generator.

Interesting as in the reviews (112 of them) they say one of the best things about it is the "Easy Starting".

I have a couple of HONDAs ...fuel efficient and super quiet...if you NEED a generator, anything is better than no electricity...so if the price is right and you have the flexibility and memory to "exercise" it every few weeks just get it..years ago a generator was a luxury...today they have become a necessity
