CCKA flywheel weight

I'm just curious what the purpose of the extra weight on the flywheel is for on the gravely 816 or 817 haven't really figured that part out yet. Lol

I’m guessing just extra mass, it’s just a round piece of metal. I’ve never tried running without it though. Just my $.02
