Hello everyone,
I just bought an old Caterpillar / Towmotor forklift.
It have a continental gas engine and that one runs good, only problem is that the waterpump is leaking, not a big problem and easy to fix.
It drives but when i push the clutch (the clutch lever is linked with the brake pedal, when you push the clutch you also brake ) i must pushed it very to the bottom before the forklift stops.
It looks like that the clutch must be set up but how t did it work ? its not a norml clutch, i open up the gear / cutch box and i see a clutch, but it is a wet clutch, spins in oil
Have this old forklifts an hydraulic clutch or an semi automatic gear box ?
Have anyone a copy from a parts book so that i can see how it works ?
