I got to "drive" one (not as new as that one though) when I was the PM on the bombing range contract. I was able to push an M-60 tank sideways and it didn't even know it was doing it. They are incredibly powerful.

My friend has a D4.....nothing like the size of this behemoth ......tiny compared to this and is still surprisingly powerful

I was a green foreman on a campground construction project, had the trucks stager the loads of gravel to make them easier to spread. The sub contractor showed up with a D-9H, it didn't break a sweat. I was in awe of that machine!

I find myself constantly watching all of those Gold Rush shows and such. I love to watch them using the big Dozers and how every 15 minutes something is breaking, and they are constantly having to repair something or other. I have learned a lot about machinery and maintenance just watching those shows.
