Hello I have a case 220 - 79 and I have a snowcaster that goes on it and the only thing I can read is 84 I am not sure if it's an h j or whatever else how can I tell the difference and how do I know what I have I need to get the right size belt for it thank you

There are dealers who sell belts that are superior to all others and then you can buy equivalent size belts. Both can easiest be found through Google. Search "Case 220 Snow Caster Belt".

Belt sizing is pretty simple, actually.

With a 220, you use the following if the snowcaster has a 6" overall OD drive pulley:


If a 6.5" overall drive pulley:


Ultimately it is useful to know the exact model, which is best achieved by comparing the unit to illustrations in the parts manual:

I've got a Case 224 and 38" snowcaster. 1/2 x 75 does work, but the belt I found that fit the best is Gates PoweRated 6977 5L770K 21/32" x 77"
