Just pondering with an option this morning and wondering what you'all think of this.

At my work right now we are taking in a trade in on a brandnew Cubcadet 3200 GT. and the owner of the trade-in is offering me his tractor (a Ingersol 220) with a front end snowblower (berco).

The tractor and blower and deck all for 800.00 dollars.

I have first bids on it, but have not yet decided. I like my little YTH180 with its Electric F.E.L. now, but immagine...there is actually a hydraulic motor on this Ingersol and from there the limit is endless, like a new front end loader and a micro hoe...

But seriously, I am buying it. I already droped down $200 on it.

If the tractor and implements are in really nice shape, then the price isn't out of line.

First of all, I've never been in favour of loaders being added to either the 200 or 400 series of Case GT's. Yes...... both Johnson and Kwik-Way have made kits to adapt their universal loaders to these machines.

Expect to lift about 300 pounds.

Best to use Ag's on the rear and tri-ribs on the front.

If you PM me, I'll clue you in on a way to make the steering work better.

Expect to put a substantial counterweight on the rear of the tractor to offset the effect the loader alone has on the steering.

Loading the tires and adding wheel weights will also help with the traction issue.

The hydraulic system on the Case is more than enough to handle any FEL you design. Depending upon whether you intend to power anything else with this tractor, there is more than one way to obtain flow for the FEL. PM me and we'll talk.

I am still awaiting an answer from the owner...he is still waiting to see if he has been accepted for financing on his GT3200, mean while i'm seeing this tractor in my repair bay everyday, it's killing me to wait...

I've been all over the pfengineering site looking at micro hoe's and getting all worked up...

soon as it makes it here to my home i'll make pics, there still lots to do, like set up his 3200, deliver, pickup the implements for the ingersol, put the money on my account at work, and deliver my toys to me...

then i have to think about selling my husky electric front end loader... my wife will flip!!!raying:
