Was running a case IH 245 today and was amazed that I only used a gallon of diesel in 4 and a half hours moving mulch. Well...now Im on a quest to find out what engine it has... I know its a Mitsubishi 3 cylinder 59CI diesel. But I cant for the life of me find the model. Any ideas? Or any Ideas where to look for a number or tag? Tried tractor data...no luck.

Engine in my car is a 1.5L 4 cylinder gas. Model = 3AC.
Engine in the Case 245 is a 3 cylinder diesel. Model = ???

I'd say you need to purchase an Owner's Manual for the machine if it's yours.. Here's a link to do that:

"Model K3B" THANKS SO MUCH! Thats what I wanted to know. Its not mine, I just run it down at the farm...and Ive decided that if I ever have enough money to build my own...whatever (car or tractor), I wanted to use the same engine. Thanks again!
