When I got my older 580CK I went looking for a manual also. I found that there is almost NOTHING out there for free download.... Lots of sites offering paid download... frankly that scares the **** out of me!! I lucked out, and the PO found the manual and gave it to me. I would search ebay and try to find a used hardcopy myself...
Case 580D Service Manual
Howdy, I apologize in advance...I haven't read the FAQ, etc. I'm usually just an avid lurker here, this is my first post.
My step brother was just handed down a 1983 Case 580D from his uncle, and unbelievably his uncle threw away the service manual just a week before gifting this tractor. Do NOT ask me why, we can't even begin to imagine his thought process on that one. He said he thought it "probably wasn't needed, since the thing's always run like a top." Needless to say, it runs, but not quite like a top. I don't know if there is anyone out there that has a PDF of this manual, or if someone can point me in the direction of where to get one. The prices on buying one are way beyond my reach, but I was hoping to locate one for his birthday, which is coming up at the end of next month.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and again- sorry if this has been asked and answered a zillion times.
