bought my first CASE 444 GT I Love my new ride***:bannana: :bannana:* ** wife says i have cut the grass more in the last 30 days than all cutting season last year. bought the GT from my boss his father in law died two**** years ago who was the original owner his dauther says she thinks he bought it new in 1972 has all of the owner and operator manuals new kohler 14hp installed 3 years ago came with j46 mowing deck disk harrow and snowblade . I have been hanging out on this forum for the last 30 days now reading all the comments on case gts I know i made one of the best deals of my life bought the whole lot for $300.* I know you tractor buffs are going* to want pictures thats the next step i have to figure out because i am not computer savy at all its took me 3 hours to make my first post** I will be back**:fing20: ***********

If the tractor was bought new in 1972, then the PTO will engage by sliding a lever in the dash tower vertically and there will be a big knob on the left side of the dash.

I hope your realize that you just got off to a bad start by telling everyone that you picked this package up for a measly three bills?
