Hey guys, I picked up a snowblower for my Case 4020 today, but when i got to the guy, it wasnt what i thought.

I thought it would be an SB48 (based on the ad that said he used it on his 4020).

Turns out it is an M84.

I drove a way to get it so bought it anyway, he was convinced it will fit and work.

I have it mounted on my tractor now, but i dont have a belt for it.

1. With a belt, will this work?

2. Anyone know what belt i need?

THanks guys.

when Ingersoll introduced the 3000/4000 Series, one of the major differences to the older 200/400 models was how the engine was positioned on the frames. Ingersoll turned the engine 180 degrees and that meant that the crankshaft was now spinning in the opposite direction. The 84 Series of snowblower needs to be driven by a 200/400 tractor.

It is possible to convert your Model 84 blower to work on your 4020. I suggest that you speak with Brian Hildreth. He can sell you what you need OR at least price out what you need so that you can make an informed decision on whether it is financially viable for you to pursue.
