How difficult is it to replace the clutch on my 385 I have fairly good mechanical skills and a way to support both halve once split. I guess my real question is there someone on here that can walk me through it if I get stumped on something.
Thanks
Tony

Hi, it's fairly straight forward, support the rear of the tractor at the bell housing, if you have a smooth floor a trolley jack will do for the engine unless you can find a splitting jack and frame, be sure to wedge the front axle to prevent the engine from piviting on the axle pivit, we nornally have these flywheels skimed, clutch life will be one third if not, the rest is nuts and bolts ect, fit new thrust & pilot bearings, and rear engine oil seal, splitting time with no fore loader will be around an hour
