Search creating a wiring harness videos. That will give you some Pro tips on how to create a new harness that does not look cooked spaghetti spread across your engine. And it will show products that will protect and "harness" your wires.

This summer I will also be re-wiring my Ingersoll/Case 222. Mice chewed some of my wires. Also since I need to trouble-shoot my PTO sensor switch and my neutral sensor switch, it will be a good time to do this.

Can you recommend the gauge to use for most of the wiring? I was thinking maybe 20 gauge for most of it? Lower gauge for anything in the path of the HOT to the starter.

Generally 16 ga throughout, except on starting and main fuse circuits.
