I have a Marvel Schebler TSX-765 on a pre 65 Ford 2000. And was wondering if someone know's how much travel the float should have? I cleaned it, and when I put the float back on, something did not seam right. It seamed like the float won't go up as far as I did before I took it off to clean it.

Any help would help a lot.

On the old M/S carb I think it's 1/4". I useally use a 1/4" drill bit to check the clearance.
