A lot of people have pointed out how the old Gravely attachments were largely designed to rest opposite the ballast of the old [relatively small] Gravely engines.
Whereas if you have a more modern Kohler engine on the back end, then the weight distribution can tend to get all out of whack.
Bottom Line: If you're gonna plow with the weight [and horsepower] of a K301 on the backside, then you need to bring your "A" game [and/or swallow a couple of shots of whiskey before you get started].
Not for the faint of heart.
