Can’t diagnose shaking problem

I’m pulling a 15 foot light weight aluminum boat on a steel trailer with an astro van and reese hitch. When I hit 65 mph the steering wheel shakes up and down severely for 5 seconds. Suddenly the steering wheel stops shaking and the reese hitch begins rattling and shaking for 5 seconds. Then it goes back to the steering wheel shaking. This cycle repeats itself over and over again. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

And it only does this while pulling the tlr??

can you see the trailer shakeing real bad in mirror, if so could be a bent or really out of ballance wheel on the trailer

does the hitch slide in to the recieder tight or is it sloppy, if its sloppy wrap some duct or eletricial tape around it before you slide it in

does it smooth out at 70 or more, if so it may be the drive shaft in the van and it show towing the trailer because a little more strain on the drive line
u joint in d shaft? that is a rwd van right? I would definitely look at trailer tires and wheels also.
I might be way out in left field on this guess but check the van's transmission and motor mounts too.

no actually your on target, i forgot to mention that
As you put weight on the rear it lightens the front. Some forward caster in the front end alignment would help.
