I have a Farmall Super C that the motor is gone in. I'd like to make something special out of it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Too many good parts to just junk the old girl.

An engine out of a same era combine is supposed to be a good candidate as a replacement engine, supposedly mounts the same but is a larger displacement and more power. Just a thought.

I vote rebuild too.

Those are wet sleeve engines, easy to re-sleeve and if you do the rebuild yourself you could probably get out the door for 500 or less. Also they make sleeves for those engines that are thinner with the same strength due to modern steel and you can up the displacement pretty easy.

I'd like to repower with a diesel and go with a wide front end, if I could find the motor and front end.
